Privacy policy
Effective 17 October 2026
Introduction
Dit en Dat is a private service for invited members. This policy explains what information it handles and how.
How we collect and use information
We collect account details provided at sign-in, content members add (such as lists, recipes, films, trips, places, chats and attachments), and device and notification identifiers. We use this information only to provide the service.
Sharing with third parties
We use trusted service providers for hosting, sign-in and AI assistance. They process information only to provide their service. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Google user data
Dit en Dat accesses Google user data only when a member chooses to connect a Google account. It can then read, search and send email, and read and change calendars, at that member's request. Credentials are stored encrypted. Google user data is never used for advertising, never sold, and shared only as the member directs. Members can disconnect at any time in Settings, which revokes access and deletes stored credentials.
Dit en Dat's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information.
Storage and retention
We keep information while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, and delete it on request.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 16 without a parent or guardian.
